AC uses both IT-A and G. You will clear immigration and customs in Canada so your baggage could be (should be) checked through to OZ without picking them up. If your AC flight arrives at IT-A, you just simply walk to the gate and check-in with OZ to get your passport and baggage tag verified. If your AC flight arrives at IT-G, you will need to exit the sterile area, get your passport and baggage tag verified at OZ (Aisle 8 or 10?) and proceed to TSA at IT-A. It's a 2-4 minutes walk from IT-G to IT-A but do allow 30 minutes to clear TSA as CX, KE, MU and KL depart around the same time. Quickest way from G to A is to walk straight after exiting the IT-G sterile area, you will not need to make any turn or change level.
