I just took a QR return trip to KUL-HKT last week.

Outbound was delayed by an hour due to late arrival of the DOH-KUL sector. By the time we reach HKT at 11.20pm, the airport was so empty that immigration and baggage claim were fast and smooth.

Because it was an hour flight, meal was all on a tray in J and you don't have much time to sample any drinks you may have in mind.

Inbound (HKT-KUL), check-in was hectic but should be fine in J class. You will be escorted by a nice lady fast track through immigration and directly to a lounge which is rather small. Food variety is poor but nice coffee though.

Boarding was a mess though. J class passengers were not given ample time to board first. Again return was 1 hour so meal again was a rush. Overall it's a nice flight. Enjoy.
