After buying VRs at Consumer Value Store then confirming with the store manager here in Baltimore (yes it dies tomorrow, yes it's hard coded - per him), I gave Dollar General a try. She loaded the value, I broke out my cc and *POOF* the manager walks up to the counter and shuts us down, "cash only"... I was dying to see if they were hard-coded.
