Another interesting thing I just noticed:

C> ping www.google.com

Pinging www.google.com [74.125.225.145] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply ..... etc.

C> ping www.flyertalk.com

Pinging flyertalk.com [98.158.194.68] with 32 bytes of data:

Request timed out
So, what happened to the "www" in front of the site name?
