Ode to the Secret Word Lost
There was a time at many places not far away
where good times happened if you just did say
a special, super secret, secret word
that often at desks was heard.

I'm talking about Kimptom Hotels of course.
It's one example why in lodging they are now a force,
doing the little things no one else thinks of,
which left their guests full of love.
And loyalty too, for how else can you explain
the repeat business that soon came?

But alas, woes and tears,
one day it happened, our worst fears!
The special, super secret, secret word
was no longer, at Kimpton desks, ever heard.
It had lost its magic, no longer had power,
Instead, it just made the desk clerk turn sour.

Oh, how I long for a return to the days of old
when at Kimton Hotels gifts did unfold,
where guests reveled deep into the night,
enjoying their gifts with delight!
