During the past year I have been lucky to have very good pursers on my AY long-haul flights. It really makes a difference.

On somewhat related news, in Finland prices of air tickets to abroad have dropped by 24% during the past ten years, according to the Statistics Finland. (They are included in the consumer price index.)
