I am purchasing an Economy flight on AA with my Avios, I would like to know if by any chance I can get the same day upgrade offer or is that only for paid tickets and purchases with AA miles? I have flown in the past on a flight that had plenty of space in First class and I purchased economy,but on that reservation I did have mixed cabins I dont know if that was the reason why I didnt get the offer.
