Given BAEC give a GUF2 and a Joker ... surely its no skin off their nose if a punter uses them together (apart from forcing each to be less usable and making more go to waste

The Gold canx charge I can see some legitimate reasoning, the GUF2/1 thing just reads like BA raising the middle finger, frankly.
Nevertheless, I patiently await any official news and notification, and will re-assess once the facts are out.
+1 ^. I just cannot understand why this is an issue to BA. GUF vouchers will be pretty useless for a GGL. It is no big deal because as a GGL you tend to have lots of Avios. But it is annoying and I still can't see the real tangible benefit to BA.
The new charges however, I can see the tangible benefit to BA even though that's also annoying.
