It is the same problem the other way round. I connected LX to AA in FRA and the LX crew was terminally worried about AA's zero bag policy as they phrased it.
Fortunately, I brought all the documentation along so they did check it through in the end.
Having said that - @AA it is impossible to find out, how much luggage an elite can bring. Especially on domestic to international connections, neither the website, nor the agents, nor the system can give you a consistent answer

By the way, LH staff in Paris are really pi$$ed off. They are all wearing badges saying "Fired", and "No better way to ... get fired" . Apparently, ground service is being outsourced and they are not happy.
They are wrong and immature - did they not know LH was the best managed airline in the galaxy and everyone who is permitted an opinion agrees on that?
They must have not understood the memo sent to them in ambiguous, misleading, and grammatically incorrect German!
