I was on an AS flight to HI a few months ago, and just as we turned onto the runway, a guy jumped up and dragged his 5-year old toward the lav. The FAs jumped up and called the cockpit, and we stopped a little abruptly. The dad just said "the kid's gotta go!"

The pilot came on the PA a couple of minutes later and laconically said "now that we've got things taken care of, we'll be taking off in about two minutes."

I didn't realize that eyes rolling made a sound.
