I'm intending to travel ex LON in October 2014 for 6/7 months. I need to understand fare classes in order to check availabilities in case of date changes once on the road.
This will be my 5th RTW ticket [every 5 years since 1995] and fares seem to have jumped since 2009 when I last did this. On every trip I've changed every single date after initially leaving, for free. I want to be able to do this and maybe change route (for a nominal fee, accepted).

Fares are split into 4 categories based on distance..
29000/30500/32000/33500 miles..starting fares in Biz from GBP 5963 to GBP 6338
For each SQ sector which involves a A380 and 77W, there are surcharges on top of your business class fare. Fares based on distance.
So it might be best if you can provide your routing.
