Good question, I meant to comment on that. Small and odd would be the best two adjectives. The thing that was odd about the setup was that you picked up your bags before going through passport control, I've never seen that in the US before. You then line up and wait for a CBP officer but, as far as I could see, there was no separate line for visitors/residents.

On my flight out the load was pretty light, I managed to get off quickly and overtake a few people on the way to passport control so I ended up as something like 5th in line (I didn't check any bags), that being the case I managed to get it my rental car within 15 minutes of hitting the gate. I had a couple of colleagues on the flight, however, who were slower getting off and had checked bags, it took them an hour and a half, so not good.
