They need to see the goods, and they can't partially stamp a form, so all goods on a single form must travel together, so you can't put some in the hold and some in the cabin if they are listed on the same reclaim form.
Thanks! I'm carrying everything via hand luggage anyway so not an issue. Was just worried that I had to do it in Paris as technically that was my "last stop" in the EU and LHR is just merely a transit point.
As a side query, my friend is flying CDG to KEF (Iceland) spending 7 days there and then flying back to LHR to transit back to HKG (ie only airside in LHR). Is it possible to do the tax stamp process in CDG? Reason for the query is because my friend's transit is very tight in LHR back to HKG so would not be ideal to have to add the time to sort it out in LHR...
