Can you forward me a screenshot of the email you got? I just got this reply back from HGP:

Dear XXX,

I would like to inform you that the reservation confirmation number, XXX is confirmed under the ineligible rates, hence the Diamond Suite upgrade awards may not be applied on this reservation.
