If my luggage was always delivered as a priority (when the appropriate tag is attached) I would almost always check it. But it NEVER is which is why it always comes with me.

Further, there is no way a bag is going under the seat in front if I only have one bag. If I take two then fair game.

I'm not really too bothered what the rules are so long as BA keep their side (treat priority as it's intended) and passengers do the same.

If I see Mrs Smith or Mr Brown getting on with huge bags, duty free bags or large hand bags and then placing them in the empty front bins while they swan of to the rear I'll stand my ground.

This is BAs fault and they should fix it by applying the rules that they publish to get us to buy the tickets. I don't want fuss or to be chased around an airport or to have an issue with luggage. That's one reason why I fly BA. While I don't like the rules of the LCC at least they stick to them and make sure all their staff apply them and understand them.
