I always laugh when I hear someone say that the other guy is using a technicality. Technicality? You mean the one written into the law by the people who wrote the law? That one?

U.S. law does not apply in Canada. That's not a technicality. They're two entirely separate countries. Sounds like sour grapes to me. And EY is undoubtedly griping that pax are using a technicality (DOT regulations) to force it to honor their mistake fare and provide full ancillary services to F pax who may have paid less than a Y fare. EY would much rather have Canadian law apply.
