No borscht in the D lounges but vodka is a plenty. Sandwiches, chips, peanuts, muslix, dried fruit, juice, waters, coffee and of course tea.
I went through SVO 5x in the last 2 weeks. Fear not the current climate if you want to leave the terminal and have a meal at one of the many new cafes and such in the AeroExpress terminal. There's a really good restaurant at the new Sheraton SVO which there's free shuttles to from D outside baggage claim. Per the climate, all is well.
If you are flying on Delta, try to check in with Igor at the check in counter. Grey haired man, glasses on the tip of his nose, very grandfatherly and has been with Delta there forever. He'll let you know the lay of the land. I got into the Jazz/Blues lounge each time I was on DL via STE+ status. There was a hiccup back in the fall but it's been worked out now. You plus one guest are allowed.
If you do find borscht in a lounge, let me know. I love the stuff.
