I only got into MS after leaving NZ, so I don't know what's available. AirNZ's travel prepaid card has the potential to be lucrative if you travel overseas often - it would be a fairly matter of buying Paypal reloads in the US. Unfortunately for me, and the T&C say that you can't have the card if you stop living in NZ.

If there are techniques - and cards - that work in NZ I'm also interested.
