The El Cameleon golf club there is no longer managed by Fairmont as of last month. Therefore no FPC Plat Passions golf cert usage there anymore, nor the Premier/Platinum BOGO golf cert usage there either. It was my favorite place to use my Plat Passions golf cert since it hosts a PGA Tourney, so obviously is in great condition, and is basically the only Fairmont managed golf course in a warm weather area. So if you are looking for use your Plat Passions golf cert in the winter time, then basically this was the go to place to use it. *****Yes, technically the Fairmont Southampton in Bermuda also fits the warm weather criteria, but I can't get myself to burn my cert at an all par-3 golf course.**************

From now on looks like I will have to start planning a Summer trip to either St Andrews or Canada if I want to maximize my Plat Passions golf cert. Sure wish it was usable at Fairmont Scottsdale (TPC Scottsdale where the Waste Management Open PGA Tourney is held). Even if it was only valid for 50% off or something at non-Fairmont managed courses that would be nice.
Round of Gold officially not available as a Passion selection this year. The benefit shall be greatly missed.. at least up here in western Canada where quite a few Fairmont golf courses are available to patron.

I would have loved to try out Mayakoba, but during our stay in 93 farenheit weather at the height of summer, I chose to hang out with my family at the vast hotel pools instead.

Looks like the 2 for 1 golf benefit is still available for elite FPC members. Although, since Mayakoba is no longer Fairmont owned, I don't think the 2 for 1 golf benefit is applicable to the Mayakoba golf course neither. If in Bermuda, the 2 for 1 benefit would make sense, as the green fees reflect a par 3 course for the area.
