I personally like the rule as people mentioned it removes a lot of the clutter/smell from other people's food. I've honestly never seen food advertised as being available in the club. I've seen the soup that's sitting out and the various "snacks", but certainly no meals for purchase. Ultimately all of the US Clubs will be Admirals clubs anyway so their policies will take place. However in the meantime while they are operating a separate airlines I think US should make it a more known that food is available for purchase.
