Hi -

I may have a business trip (but flying in economy) to Australia in May, and I'm trying to decide among United, Qantas, or Air New Zealand. I've been disheartened by United's deteriorating standards over the past 2 years (I've been flying UA since the mid 80s and it's like watching an aging relative fade away), and I'd like to hear from folks about their transpacific experiences in economy on each of these airlines.

FWIW, I'm a MP Silver, but I don't hold out any hope for E+, so I'm looking to compare steerage class among these airlines.
