This is dangerous advice. AFAIK the "normal" time that DL recommends for everyone for domestic flights is an hour and fifteen minutes. I've personally seen lines over an hour for both PreCheck and SkyPriority recently.
Local TV news last night said that everyone should arrive two and a half hours early, which I think is ridiculous.
