it's a whole cost/time decision - I really appreciate all the input. These are the prices I got. We have 1 companion pass so only need to pay for 3 tickets. All flights are about the same time (2/3pm)with an advantage to ONT as there is no plane change.

ONT - 18,084x 3 = 54,252, one way car rental, relatively easy 1hr drive.

BUR - 10,548x3= 31,644, 1hr 15 min Amtrak probably best to avoid traffic although driving could still be doable since it is a holiday. easy, small airport.

LAX - 14,902x3= 44,706, typically cheaper car rentals. Big, busy airport. One way car rental likely to be the best bet.

SNA - 19,758x3 = 59,274, closest and easiest. 20 min drive/cab/shuttle

Any other pros and cons I should add?
I don't mind going to a little extra trouble to save points. (Diff between cheapest and most expensive is 30,000 points - that's 2 flights).
