I had a charming agent at YYZ "change" my FF number from AP to MM, even gave me a boarding pass showing that. The miles still went into my AP account, I have asked 3 times to have them taken out, so I can put them into MM, on the phone they say no problem, it was our mistake - send it in writing. Sent it in, twice now, get a form letter back telling me touch sh!t. Isn't that great customer service.
Worst part was, the flight wasn't even AC, they were just working the flight on behalf of the other Star partner.
