I was thinking about changing my BAEC account address to my Cyprus residence, because I had heard that the tier points threshold is lower for Europeans than British people. I use my UK address at the moment. If I would change the address to the 800 tier points gold threshold then I would be able to reach Gold before my tier point year ends.

However, when I went to change it, before I had to confirm the changes, it listed the contact details of the BA service center in Cyprus and there was a table listing the tier points and their respective thresholds, however they were exactly the same as they are for me right now. Is it no longer possible to change address to get the threshold lowered?
