So, just to be clear, before the transaction was completed and you provided a form of payment such as a CC, you had the total amount due and owing and agreed to pay it.

That is no different than what you would see online on a routine booking.

For all the people who say that changes are "free" on WN, that ignores the reality that while there is no change fee, the add/collect is generally very high and often much, much higher than you would pay for a full change fee or SDC (without status) on one of the real airlines.

Yet people continue to fly WN because WN does a great job of convincing people that they are getting great value, when they aren't. Kudos to the WN marketing cookies.
