It seemed very bad earlier this year, including for PreCheck and SkyPriority, but this month was OK for me. However, much depends on the time of day and day of the week one is traveling. IME the worst times are the early morning bank of flights, especially on Monday and Thursday/Friday, plus Saturdays when the kettle families travel.
