Really a shame. I used it last September and really enjoyed the experience, although the Avis car rental desk was total chaos, a real Faulty Motors experience.

There's lots to see in Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate, and surprisingly good food to be had in all.

At the airport, I must say security had a field day, presumably because they don't get much excitement outside the KLM cityhopper flights. Lots of people grumbling about it. And, on arrival, I got asked how long I was going to stay! Me?? I'm a Brit with a British passport! Otherwise, perfectly pleasant and thoroughly British.
