In my corporate world, I have some freedom to choose who I fly but not completely. It is generally fare dependent within $100 of the cheapest fare. AS typically gets priced out on many of the smaller markets I want to fly to (via code share) so I have to fly AA or DL metal the whole way (the way our corporate booking site generally routes us). I do fine with AA but am seeing increasing US fares that I would like to take (that weren't there pre-AA merger). I have to work really hard now to find flights that don't route me on DL.
Yea I don't look at US at the moment - I used them a lot as a back up but I have no idea what miles I will get either now or in the future. For sure none on AS.
