Nexus can be a very, very good thing. Problem is, it can take months to get your interview scheduled unless you are lucky enough to get a walk-up interview in SEA. And you have to have an in-person interview to get it. I'm still waiting on my interview and will actually pop up to SEA on QX when it's scheduled.

Note that US Immigration in YVR uses the new kiosks such that you no longer fill out the paper immigration form. Instead you scan your passport, enter a few bits of info on screen, and the kiosk spits out the paperwork to show the immigration officer. Personally I like it and I do think it smooths the process ever so slightly.
