It's annoying, those "voluntary" fees, when they should be simply absorbed into the "cost of doing business"....... just like airlines should include tax/fees/fuel surcharges
I was never aware of it until recently also (after reading some TripAdvisor reviews), but will keep this in mind next time I visit Niagara Falls area
