I've gotten probably ~80%/20% "...? I've never seen that before but it looks legit" / "oh, you're mononymic, I've seen one of those before" reactions from people who deal with very large numbers of identity documents (dmv, passport control).

Ironically, 100% #1 from TSA TDCs.

I don't doubt that there are other mononymic passports — I've seen 'em — and I know that e.g. Indonesia has a high mononymic population.

I've just been kinda curious about whether I have the shortest name in the world, or tied-for-shortest, or not. E.g. there are a shitton of Indians named "Sai" but they all (TTBOMK) have at least one more legal name, which tend to be pretty long at that.
