I ~think~ you're going to be okay with the view. Unless you get totally screwed on a room assignment in one of the towers, you should have a decent view of the gulf...no neck craning required.

As for the chickee huts, I personally think you'd be better off renting the beach umbrellas instead. The huts are actually closer to the pools than the gulf and if you get any rain, all the run off seems to gather at the huts. These are great in theory, but if they were closer to the water, they would be better. You could rent alot of umbrellas for the same price as a chickee hut.
