Using VGC, go to your local large chain grocer if avoiding WM is desirable (as it is me). The lines are comparable to WM but sometimes you get a break. Just don't go on a gov't payday and remember to expect lotto sales to slow things a bit. That's still better than the merchandise returnees at WM.

"Hi, how are you, ma'am? I need to buy a MO for $999.30 (or $499.30). I will be using multiple debit swipe(s)". Pause to let cashier process the info.

"My first swipe will be for $500." Pause and when ready swipe, enter PIN. "Ok, thanks, my next swipe will be $499.30". Pause while process takes place.

If you have $500 plus on the one VGC, just ask for the amount minus the MO fee with the one swipe.

You should be all done. MO is processed, handed to you. Say thanks and depart. HTH!
