Use the M+M intra-Europe. (And I have to add that 38,000 miles really isn't that much.)

Lifemiles has basically the same *A award availability as MP (plus access to SQ premium cabin awards). The routing rules are stricter, but the awards are now considerably cheaper following the UA devaluation.

There is no efficient means to transfer between these programs.
