Possibly this is the toilet that converts into a double-size toilet by folding away the partition wall, for passengers who need a more accessible (wheelchair, etc) toilet? That could explain the flimsy looking toilet wall.
I think one of the regular BA crew on this forum mentioned this feature of the A380 but I couldn't find it by searching.
