Hi All,

Been trying to book two UC flights for this October since last year using points. Ideally going to Las Vegas mid-week and not in peak holidays but have expanded search to LA and San Fran then get a internal flight to Vegas but there is never anything available. I've contacted Flying Club only to get the the usual answer that I should keep checking every day because something might become available (well it hasn't in the last 5 months) and out of interest I search on different dates in different months and still nothing available.

I've booked reward flights in the past (be it a few years ago) and never had this problem before. I'm starting to think that Virgin miles are useless unless you can fly when Virgin tells you to and to a destination of their choice.

If anybody got any tips on this they would be appreciated.

Oh well rant over and back to searching availability.
