I have 3 official given names (pretty common here) and my last name consist of 2 words, of which one is 'van' (like used in the US as for example in Vanderbilt), but we write it separately here. I've been called by all 3 given names, but happily only by hotels, airlines so far had that part right. My last name though was a problem with Lion Air in Indonesia. They gave me first a boarding pass for Ms. Van, then one for Ms. Maria (my 3rd given name) and the third boarding pass was for Ms. Catharina (my 2nd given name). It took me quite some time to explain their mistakes each time, even though I pointed each time at my official name in my passport, and only the fourth time it was correct.
