I currently have an AMEX choice plus which is personal but I use it for business purposes. I've managed to charge 80k+ on the card with only 3k limit. I was constantly paying the balance in order to be able to keep using the card. I'm not sure how this would reflect on my credit score, and whether or not I should request a credit increase. Ive only had the card for about a 12 mo. I really would like to avoid going to the bank everyweek but if I want to collect points, its my only option. If I call customer service would I pre-qualify for a new card? And does a credit increase reflect my credit score?
