I will be flying into SFO Intl on aug 3 and looking to rent one way to 07726 ending on 08/15. It seems rent from the airport itself is 270 more than from just outside the airport. Has anyone flown into SFO and rented from the Avis location at 230 Harbor way South San Francisco. What would be best way to get there cab, etc . I would be ok to rent from other locations outside the airport if they are more accessable and same cost savings. I will be using the AARP discount and would like to have sirius radio also for the trip back. Looking to book full size or premium. Also once you book online do they generally have the class of vehicle you want or do they upgrade you at no cost. I havent rented in a while and dont want to be stuck with no car or economy car for drive back.
