I hope they don't change it. It would make it more complicated.
I've read on here how others find the oneworld levels difficult to understand. Unless you're in the know, how do you know that an emerald is two steps above a ruby?
Gold/Silver/Bronze is clear to everyone. Blue (or any colour really) is the entry level.
