Is your status on US? Then, yes, you'll get reciprocal benefits as described in many places in this forum.

Is your *G status from another airline (UA, LH, etc.)? Then, officially no, you don't get any *A benefits because your flight is operated by AA, a OW carrier. But I could imagine this being a YMMV situation for the next week or so.
