We would echo many of
Uggboy's comments. We only stayed one night but loved the rooms and the feel of the hotel. There was a lack of polish, but that added to the charms of the hotel in many ways - this is not a slick business hotel, but a romantic relaxing getaway.
Our Luxe Crib had a wonderful rustic balcony over the pool and we enjoyed using the hot tub. We also saw a Luxe Sarang and the The Loft (the hotel's Presidential Suite), the former spacious and probably our favourite but the latter oh so romantic.
Dining in hotel we found a little disappointing, but we ate at one of their sister restaurants, Tamarind Springs, which was wonderful. It must be one of the most romantic restaurants in the World, set in a protected area of rainforest some way out of KL.
The hotel is unique as far as we know, providing a real retreat in a major city. We would definitely recommend it, but would suggest splitting your stay with the Hyatt if it's your first visit so as to more easily visit the tourist sites.
