I was on the BA55 last night too and also in CW! This was my first trip on the A380 and my first step on both the continent of Africa and the southern hemisphere. Interior design is more refined than 777 and 747 due to ridging on the seat shell and interior walls. There are dividers above curtains to block light. The upper deck feels much tighter than the 777 cabin and the OHSC are quite small. Luckily my cabin bag just fitted.

I was in 58K (which is upstairs for those unfamiliar with the LOPA) so had a good view of the WTP cabin and a chance to explore. Window seats look extremely good for WTP since they have side bins.

The staircase at the front has a velvet rope at the bottom and the spiral staircase at the back has a closed gate at the top.

Me too. I slept soundly for five hours, getting better sleep quality than either 777 or 747. I would have slept for longer but the flight leaves and arrives early. I got a couple of hours bonus sleep by the pool at my hotel this morning.

I was through immigration about 20 minutes after leaving the plane and my bag was waiting for me on the carousel. However I noted that the immigration queues got extremely long within a few minutes of my arrival.
