Been flying internationally for 30 years and never had this happen - 90 min. into 14 hr 30min. flight EWR-PVG we were told by pilot returning to EWR to fix lack of water pressure. Attendants privately conceded EWR ground crew not doing good job and likely problem caused by incorrect value tightening while on ground. Landed 2:30 pm and then given classic string along with 3:20 pm, 3:40 pm, etc., departures until we finally left at 6 pm. Crew changed and menu changed as well - less breakfast options. And new crew mixed up dinner selection and gave subpar service.
Former Delta Diamond member on 90 day 1K trial with United and I am not impressed. It is true they have never recovered from botched Continental merger?
Will only use them if I really have to. Got email offering 15 k mi/$300 e-cert. but what do I do about my missed dinner meeting last night?? Mickey Mouse!!
