If it's a mileage tix do they give you the hotel? I thought it was only on paid tickets. Anyway, IMO 7 hrs is not enough time to go to a hotel. I fly to Eure every six weeks beginning also on 355 and fly on to LYS with is a flt at 1400 and I do use the Dubai Connect. I don't get to the hotel until around 2-230 AM and they insist on picking me back up 3 hrs before scheduled departure. So in your case you would have very little time at the hotel. EK used to use Le Meridien near the airport but it's undergoing major renovations and so EK has switched to the Marriott Marquis Dubai. It's a really nice hotel but significantly further away from the airport. Enjoy and relax in the First class lounge instead.
