I say this sitting on a DL flight, but having recently come back from a long haul flight on AA, so to be clear my loyalties are somewhat mixed. I think DL anticipated selling far more BE than they are. They cut our corporate discount to the point that its dead even w our AA fares. So I have found myself picking AA when I can get their new 77W. It doesn't replace all DL travel, but I am not nearly as beholden to DL for premium long haul as I once was. Seeing as the other reports of them ripping out BE seats, I'm willing to entertain this could be true...
