Flight AA 2487 has been diverted to FLL due to low fuel, originally MCO-MIA due to VIP movement, this situation known as Air Force one.

I will most likely miss my connection to South America. Can I consider this an AA fault for not adding enough fuel to a 39 planned flight time and knowing that Air Force one was in MIA?

Will AA cover hotel costs if needed to overnight in this situation?
