I have these points and 1,200 check is sounding nice. Everyone says that is stupid.

If I transfer them to a partner for say, hotel nights, one night stays are like 40-50k points, so I get 2-3 nights at hotel, which is not worth 1200 bucks to me. I have companion pass with southwest, but I have 100k points with them to use this year on the CP as well.

Anyone got better ideas?
