We'll be going to Pompei and storing our luggage either at our hotel in Naples or at the Naples train station.

But, since neither is secured - the left luggage at Naples station isn't lockers, but open shelving behind a counter - we'd like to take out laptops with up. But will we be able to take backpacks into the ruins, or while they make us check them there, defeating the purpose.
